Uri Attia (Suspended Cirque DJ) is a New-York-based funk, soul, and breaks DJ. After stints as host of a radio show and as bassist and sax player for several Bay Area- and New York-based bands, he turned to DJing ’round the clock.
Uri’s influences include the Bar-Kays, Sly and the Family Stone, Daft Punk, Kool Herc, Al Green, Grandmaster Flash, Krafty Kuts, Slash, “The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,” Tower of Power, Grandmaster Flash, Larry David, the Dust Brothers, the Beastie Boys, the Chemical Brothers, Jam Master Jay, and “Three’s Company.”
