At the center of this unforgettable evening at the Boston Center for the Arts is the world premiere performance of Suspended Cirque’s UnTamed: The Wild Underground.

In its Boston debut, Suspended Cirque will intertwine music, dance and aerial acrobatics to unleash the UnTamed nature in all of us. UnTamed: The Wild Underground will breathe excitement into every curve of the Cyclorama – energy abounding in the air, on the floor and across the walls. This immersive performance will delight the audience in an unparalleled, unprecedented and UnTamed spectacle of music, movement and maneuvers.

As part of the evening, the BCA will honor Klare Shaw for her amazing impact on Boston’s arts, culture and education landscape.

Prior to the curtain rising, guests will explore the environment and will be treated to impromptu performances throughout the space. After the show, all 500 guests are invited to linger in our UnTamed world for more spontaneous performances, up-close interaction with the artists, and time to mingle with Boston’s cultural community while sampling the BCA’s Signature Cocktail, the Cherry Plain. Created just for this event, the Cherry Plain was crafted by Eastern Standard using Berkshire Mountain Distillers Ragged Mountain Rum.

KickStarter Success!

Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who helped support Subterranea through our recent KickStarter campaign!!!

As of this past Sunday evening, the KickStarter campaign has concluded, and with your help we raised $7,605.00; that’s over 150% of the amount that we hoped to raise! These funds will really help offset the enormous costs involved in staging this performance.

We would also like to thank everyone who attended the Sneak-Peak performance party on March 12th. That event was also a huge success!

So now we are just over 3 weeks away from opening night on April 28th! Can you believe it! We can’t!

Andrew Oswald has been directing his butt off, and the music from composer Jeff Halpern sounds amazing! We’re really blessed and excited to be working with guest performers Megan Loomis and Lani Corson. We should be seeing some of the wardrobe designed by Chasity Neutze really soon.

*** TICKETS are now on sale for Subterranea. ***

There are 11 performances, we hope you’ll be able to share an evening with us.
